OGC NICE - AWAY SHIRT 2024/2025

OGC Nice, founded in 1904, are a French football club based on the Côte d'Azur in the south of France. Affectionately known as Les Aiglons ("The Eaglets"), they play their home fixtures at the Allianz Riviera, a 36,000-capacity stadium opened in 2013. Nice are one of the historic powers of French football, claiming four Ligue 1 titles in a golden 1950s spell (1951, 1952, 1956 and 1959), before a long stretch of decline gave way to a steady modern rebuild - accelerated since 2019 under the ownership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS group.

The 2024/2025 campaign - during which this striking away shirt was worn - was Franck Haise's first season at the helm, the former Lens boss having taken over from Le Bris in the summer. Under his stewardship Nice finished fourth in Ligue 1, securing a place in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round and confirming Les Aiglons as serious contenders at the top end of the French table once again.

It was a season that mixed domestic excellence with European frustration. Nice's UEFA Europa League campaign ended at the league phase, with a series of narrow defeats consigning them to an early exit before the knockout rounds. The cup runs were similarly short-lived, with the club's focus increasingly drawn to the Ligue 1 push for Champions League qualification.

The standout figure of the season was Evann Guessand, whose breakout campaign yielded a dozen Ligue 1 goals and earned him a place among the division's most coveted forwards. Nigerian striker Terem Moffi, top scorer in previous seasons, chipped in alongside him with 11. Jonathan Clauss also had another strong season, providing 3 goals and 8 assists from wing-back.
