PITTSBURGH RIVERHOUNDS  – AWAY SHIRT 2025

Pittsburgh Riverhounds Soccer Club are a professional team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Riverhounds play their home matches at Highmark Stadium in downtown Pittsburgh, one of the few football-specific stadiums in the United States.

This smart away shirt was worn during an incredible 2025 season, when the Riverhounds finished 5th in the Eastern Conference of the USL Championship, the second tier of American soccer. This position qualified the team for the play-offs, where they went on a remarkable run to win their first ever league title.

In true dramatic fashion, three of their four play-off victories came via penalty shootouts following 0-0 draws - including the Championship Final! The only goal the club scored in the play-offs was in the semi-final, netted by Robbie Mertz, a homegrown Pittsburgh native playing for his hometown club.

Eric Dick was named MVP of the 2025 USL Championship Final, and with four clean sheets in four matches combined with three penalty shootout wins, he was arguably the MVP of the entire play-offs.
