Real Madrid are one of the biggest clubs in the world. They play at the iconic Santiago Benabeu stadium and one of the few clubs to have always been owned by their members (socios).

This classy away shirt was worn by Los Blancos during a season of relative turmoil. Julen Lopetegui started the season as manager after leaving the national team job
before the World Cup. However he was sacked after a 5-1 defeat in El Classico and was replaced by Santiago Solari. Due to an array of disappointing results, including a Round of 16 exit in the Champions League at the hands of Ajax, Solari was also sacked with Zinedine Zidane making an unexpected return as head coach.

Real Madrid finished La Liga in third place, some 19 points behind Barcelona.
