Sierra Leone is a country on the coast of Western Africa. Their national team, known as the Leone Stars, have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations on three occasions; in 1994, 1996 and most recently in 2021. Current head coach Mohamed Kallon is also the team's joint record goalscorer, with 8 goals in his 40 caps.

Sierra Leone are currently ranked 124th in the FIFA World Rankings but have been rated as high as 50th, back in 2014.
