Simba Sports Club is a professional club located in the Tanzanian capital, Dar es Salaam.

The Reds of Msimbazi compete in the Tanzanian Premier League and play home matches at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium which is the largest ground in the country and is also used by the national team.

Simba are one of the top ten clubs in Africa and have won the national title on 22 occasions.

Simba wore this red home shirt in their CAF Champions League campaign where they finished second in the group, to qualify into the quarter finals. Unfortunately, they lost on aggregate over two matches to the future winners of the tournament, Al Ahly.
