SPVGG BAYREUTH - HOME SHIRT 2022/2023

SpVgg Bayreuth is a German football club based in the town of Bayreuth in Bavaria. The club, who are nicknamed Die Altstädter (the Oldtowners) currently compete in the Regionalliga Bayern, the top tier of Bavarian football which is a regionalised section of the 4th tier in Germany.

Their home matches are played at the Hans-Walter-Wild-Stadion with a capacity of
21,500. Bayreuth were two games away from earning promotion to the Bundesliga in 1979, but unfortunately lost out.

This home shirt was worn by the club in a season to forget for Bayreuth. The club finished rock bottom of the 3. Liga, confirming their relegation to the fourth division.
