YOUNG ELEPHANTS FC - AWAY SHIRT 2024/2025

Young Elephants FC are a professional football club from Vientiane, Laos, founded in 2015 by the Lao Football Federation as a development vehicle for the country's 16-to-19-year-olds. Singaporean businessman Jason Lim took over in 2018 and turned the project into a national flagship - roughly 80 per cent of the current Laos senior squad have come through the Elephants. Home matches are played at the New Laos National Stadium, a 25,000-seater about 17km from central Vientiane.

The 2024/2025 Lao League 1 was the season during which this striking away shirt was worn - the Elephants' first campaign as defending double champions after their back-to-back unbeaten title runs. Phoutpasong Sengdalavong had taken charge in May 2024, and his side finished second, ending a remarkable run of dominance as Ezra FC ran out worthy champions on 38 points.

It was a season of fine margins. Young Elephants won 11 of their 14 league matches, scoring 41 and conceding just 12 - but a 4-3 defeat at Ezra and a 1-0 reverse at home to the same opponents proved decisive. They also reached the Prime Minister's Cup final in March, where Ezra again came out on top, winning 2-1.
