Al-Hilal Saudi Football Club, or simply known as Al-Hilal, are a professional multi-sports club based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Their football team competes in the Saudi Pro League. In Arabic, Al-Hilal means "the Crescent Moon". Founded on 16 October 1957, Al-Hilal are one of three teams to have participated in all seasons of the Saudi Pro League since its establishment in 1976. Their stadium is called Kingdom Arena and it can host up to 26,000.
This smart home shirt was worn in the 2024/2025 season where Al-Hilal finished second in the league on 75 points. They also competed in the FIFA Club World Cup, AFC Champions League, and King's Cup.
In the Club World Cup, they reached the quarter-finals after shockingly beating Manchester City in the Round of 16 and getting through a group with Real Madrid. Their run ended with a 2-1 loss to Fluminense.
In the AFC Champions League, Al-Hilal reached the semi-finals, but lost to Al-Ahli. Ivan Toney and Roberto Firmino were amongst the goals for Al-Ahli that day.
Finally, they lost in the quarter-finals of the King's Cup to eventual winners Al-Ittihad, who also won the league ahead of them.
Al-Hilal have had global superstars such as Neymar, who wore the famous blue between 2023 and 2025, and former Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema. In August 2026 they added England striker Ollie Watkins, who arrived from Aston Villa in a reported £50 million deal after becoming Villa's record Premier League goalscorer.
