ALEBRIJES DE OAXACA - HOME SHIRT 2025/2026

Alebrijes de Oaxaca were founded in 2012 and represent the city of Oaxaca in southern Mexico. They take their name and identity from the alebrijes, the dazzlingly colourful folk-art creatures carved and painted in the villages around Oaxaca, and they play at the Estadio Tecnologico de Oaxaca. Few clubs anywhere wear their local culture quite so vividly.

The 2025/2026 season, during which this striking home shirt was worn, saw Alebrijes competing in the Liga de Expansion MX, the second tier of Mexican football. The home kit leans hard into the region's heritage, its base broken up by the multicoloured patterns and carnival motifs that make Oaxaca's craft tradition famous, a shirt that doubles as a piece of regional art.

The Liga de Expansion MX splits its year into the Apertura and Clausura tournaments, giving clubs two shots at a play-off place across the campaign, and Alebrijes spent the season chasing a spot in the liguilla knockout rounds against a competitive field of established second-tier names.
