ALGERIA WOMEN – AWAY SHIRT 2023

Algeria’s women’s national team, known as Les Vertes, represents the country under the Algerian Football Federation (FAF).

In 2023, the team was led by coach Farid Benstiti as they focused on building for the future and preparing for major upcoming competitions, aiming to raise the overall level of the squad.

Although they did not compete in a global tournament that year, the team showed signs of progress and renewed hope that Algeria could make a stronger mark on the continental stage. Over the course of the year, they played five matches, winning three, drawing one, and suffering a heavy 4‑0 defeat to Senegal.

Having secured qualification for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, they went on to compete in the 2025 edition. Algeria advanced from the group stage but were ultimately eliminated by Ghana in the knockout rounds.
