ATHLETIC BILBAO – ANNIVERSARY SHIRT 2023/2024

Athletic Bilbao are a historic football club based in the city of Bilbao, in Spain’s Basque Country. They were founded in 1898, and are one of only three clubs never to be relegated from La Liga.

The team play their home matches at the Estadio San Mamés, which has a capacity of 53,331 spectators. 

Athletic Bilbao wore this anniversary shirt during the 2023/2024 season, designed by Castore to commemorate the club’s 125th anniversary. On the pitch that season, Athletic Bilbao ended their 40-year trophy drought by winning the Copa del Rey, defeating Mallorca 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in extra time.  They also secured a 5th place finish in La Liga, qualifying for the Europa League.
