This home shirt was worn in what was another impressive season for Diego Simeone’s team.

Los Rojiblancos (The Red and Whites) performed miracles to reach their second Champions League final in three seasons. However the Milan showpiece ended in heartache as they lost out on penalties to city rivals Real Madrid.

In La Liga, Athletico again challenged the dominance of Real and Barca, finishing in third but only three points from top spot.
