BELGIUM - AWAY SHIRT 2026
Belgium's national team are one of European football's most exciting modern sides, representing a footballing nation whose so-called "golden generation" has captured the imagination of fans around the world over the past decade. Known to fans as the Red Devils (or Les Diables Rouges in French and De Rode Duivels in Dutch), Belgium reached the FIFA World Cup semi-finals in 1986 and did a little better at Russia 2018, finishing third with a famous quarter-final victory over Brazil along the way.
This legacy has been shaped by legendary figures such as Enzo Scifo, Vincent Kompany, Eden Hazard, and Romelu Lukaku, whose brilliance has defined Belgian football across generations.
Belgium are wearing this unique away shirt at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico under new French manager Rudi Garcia, who took charge in January 2025 in his first international role. Drawn into Group G alongside Egypt, Iran and New Zealand, the Red Devils have a favourable opening to the tournament and arrive with what many regard as one final shot at the major prize the country's celebrated golden generation has never won.
The squad continues to be built around the spine of that generation: 34-year-old captain Kevin De Bruyne, now operating as a number 10 at Napoli; Thibaut Courtois between the sticks at Real Madrid; and all-time leading scorer Romelu Lukaku (89 international goals), included by Garcia despite an injury-disrupted club season. Alongside them are the next wave - Manchester City winger Jeremy Doku, and Aston Villa midfield duo Amadou Onana and Youri Tielemans - travelling to North America hungry to convert the Red Devils' famed talent into silverware at last.
