BOAVISTA – THIRD SHIRT 2018/2019

Boavista Futebol Clube is a Portuguese club from the city of Porto. Founded in August 1903 by British entrepreneurs and Portuguese textile workers, BFC are one of the oldest clubs in the country. They currently compete in Porto's regional leagues following severe punishment for ignoring regulations.

Os Axadirezados (The Chequered Ones) are historically one of the biggest clubs in Portugal with 9 major domestic trophies (1 Championship, 5 Portuguese Cups and 3 domestic Super Cups) to their name. Aside from Belenenses, Boavista are the only club outside of the big three (Benfica, Porto and Sporting) to win the Portuguese Championship.

They have a rivalry with Porto, the matches being called O Derby da Invicta.

Boavista wore this yellow third shirt in their 2018/2019 Primera Liga campaign - finishing in a respectable 8th place out of 18 teams.
