BORUSSIA MÖNCHENGLADBACH – HOME SHIRT 2023/2024

German side Borussia Mönchengladbach, nicknamed Die Fohlen (“The Foals”), continue to balance a rich history with the challenges of modern Bundesliga competition.

During their golden era in the 1970s and 1980s, Gladbach established themselves as one of Europe’s most formidable teams, winning multiple domestic titles and competing regularly on the continental stage.

This smart home shirt was worn during the 2023/2024 season, a campaign marked by transition both on and off the pitch as the club aimed to build a new identity with a younger squad following Daniel Farke's exit to Leeds in the summer.

Gladbach finished in the lower half of the Bundesliga table, and only avoided a relegation playoff by a single point and goal difference.

French forward Alassane Pléa played a key role in attack, contributing pivotal goals and experience to a developing side. It was Robin Hack who really excelled though, scoring 10 goals from just 14 starts in midfield after signing for the club in the summer.
