BURNLEY – THIRD SHIRT 2021/2022

Burnley FC from Lancashire, England is a professional team, playing in the English Premier League.  They were one of the 12 founder members of the Football League in 1888/89, having been formed in May 1882.

The team are known as The Clarets.

Burley have been champions of England twice in 1920/21 and 1959/60.

Their ground is a traditional English stadium, called Turf Moor, where they have played since 1883.

Burnley wore this third shirt in the 2021/2022 season when the club finally lost their Premier League status after six years. The club sacked long standing manager Sean Dyche in mid-April, but caretaker manager Mike Jackson was unable to save the club from relegation, finishing 18th.

Burnley however bounced back the following season and returned to the Premier League.
