CHARLEROI - HOME SHIRT 2025/2026

Royal Charleroi Sporting Club are a historic Belgian football club founded in 1904 and based in the southern industrial city of Charleroi in francophone Wallonia. Famously known as Les Zèbres ("The Zebras") for their iconic black-and-white striped home shirts, Charleroi play their home matches at the 15,000-capacity Stade du Pays de Charleroi - the atmospheric "Mambourg" ground that has hosted top-flight football in the city for decades. The 2025/2026 season marked the club's 122nd in existence and their 14th consecutive campaign in the Belgian Pro League.

The 2025/2026 campaign - during which this striking home shirt was worn - was a year of transition for Les Zèbres. Charleroi began the season under manager Rik De Mil, but a poor run of form saw Hans Cornelis appointed as full-time head coach in January 2026. His stint was brief and he departed in April of 2026. The Zebras finished the regular season in 11th place on 34 points (W9 D7 L14), securing a place in the Europe play-offs where they came 3rd, under the stewardship of Mario Kohnen.

European football came briefly to the Mambourg via the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round in July, with Les Zèbres exiting after a narrow aggregate defeat. Charleroi reached the semi-finals of the Belgian Cup before being eliminated by eventual winners USG (Union Saint-Gilloise).
