Charleroi 2025/2026 Home Shirt

CHARLEROI - HOME SHIRT 2025/2026

Royal Charleroi Sporting Club are a historic Belgian football club founded in 1904 and based in the southern industrial city of Charleroi in francophone Wallonia. Famously known as Les Zèbres ("The Zebras") for their iconic black-and-white striped home shirts, Charleroi play their home matches at the Stade du Pays de Charleroi - the atmospheric "Mambourg" ground that has hosted top-flight football in the city for decades. The 2025/2026 season marked the club's 122nd in existence and their 14th consecutive campaign in the Belgian Pro League.

The 2025/2026 campaign - during which this striking home shirt was worn - was a year of transition for Les Zèbres. Charleroi began the season under manager Rik De Mil, who left for Gent in December, with Hans Cornelis taking over until April and Mario Kohnen stepping in as caretaker for the run-in. The Zebras finished the regular season in 11th place on 34 points (W9 D7 L14), securing a place in the Europe play-offs where they came 3rd.

European football came briefly to the Mambourg via the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round in July, with Les Zèbres exiting before the summer was out. At home, Charleroi reached the semi-finals of the Belgian Cup before being eliminated.
