CHIEVO VERONA – GOALKEEPER SHIRT 2018/2019

I Mussi Volanti (The Flying Donkeys) play in the suburb of Chievo in the city of Verona, Northern Italy.

Verona’s goalkeepers wore this shirt in their 11th consecutive season in Serie A. The season started badly with a 3pt deduction for false accounting and things went from bad to worse with the club only winning two league games all year. They ended the season bottom of the league, 21 points from safety.

Goals were hard to come by with their top goalscorer, Pole Mariusz Stepinski, only getting 6 goals in all competitions.

The club have recently reformed after financial problems and are looking to climb the Italian football pyramid – currently the team are competing in Serie D.
