CLUB NACIONAL DE FOOTBALL – HOME SHIRT 2024

Club Nacional de Football were founded in 1899 and are based in Montevideo, Uruguay. Nicknamed El Bolso, Nacional are one of the most successful and historically significant clubs in world football. They play their home matches at the Estadio Gran Parque Central, one of the oldest football stadiums still in continuous use. Their main rivals are Peñarol, with whom they contest the Uruguayan Clásico, widely regarded as one of the fiercest and most traditional derbies in global football.

Nacional wore this smart, collared home shirt throughout the 2024 season across Uruguay’s Primera División and domestic cup competitions. 

On the pitch, Nacional produced a highly competitive 2024 campaign. They finished second in the Primera División aggregate standings, narrowly missing out on the league title to arch-rivals Peñarol, but still secured qualification for the 2025 Copa Libertadores. Nacional did, however, get the better of their rivals in the Torneo Intermedio final, winning 8–7 on penalties after an extraordinary game that featured three red cards all dished out in the 88th minute before the game went to penalties.

In the Copa Uruguay, Nacional once again reached the final but ultimately finished runners-up, losing on penalties to Defensor Sporting.
