CLUB TIJUANA FEMENIL - AWAY SHIRT 2024/2025

Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente are a Liga MX side founded in 2007, based in the border city of Tijuana, Baja California. Nicknamed Los Xolos after the ancient Mexican hairless dog that adorns the badge, the club play their home matches at the Estadio Caliente - a fortress just a stone's throw from the United States border. Their women's side, Club Tijuana Femenil, were established in late 2016 as one of the eighteen founding members of the Liga MX Femenil, and the players are warmly known to the Frontera faithful as Las Xolas.

This striking away shirt was worn during the 2024/2025 Liga MX Femenil season - a campaign split, as is the Mexican tradition, across the Apertura and Clausura tournaments. Head coach Juan Romo was at the helm for both halves of the calendar, building a side that played simple, connected football out of Estadio Caliente. Las Xolas roared through the Apertura 2024 with attacking flair, ultimately finishing 9th just outside the Liguilla (play-offs).

The Apertura heartbreak came on the very last matchday - Tijuana needing only a draw to reach the Liguilla but falling just short, with Toluca pinching the eighth and final play-off spot. The Clausura 2025 brought more of the same - moments of real promise punctured by setbacks, including a tight 1-0 loss away at Querétaro. Once again Las Xolas finished outside the post-season places, leaving Romo's project unfulfilled.
