CREMONESE – AWAY SHIRT 2020/2021
Unione Sportiva Cremonese is an Italian football club based in the northern city of Cremona. The side currently competes in Serie B, the second tier of Italian football. Known as Le Tigri (The Tigers), the club plays its home matches at the Stadio Giovanni Zini, which has a capacity of 20,641.
This away shirt was worn during the 2020/2021 campaign, a season heavily disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time football was suspended in early March, Cremonese were locked in a relegation battle and facing a difficult run-in. However, the enforced break ultimately worked in their favour. When the season resumed in June, the team found form at the right moment, going on an impressive run that secured their survival. In the 11 matches played after the restart, Le Tigri lost just twice, showing a significant turnaround in performance.
In 2025/2026, Cremonese have attracted wider attention following the high-profile arrival of former Premier League title-winner Jamie Vardy, who joined the club in the summer from Leicester. The move brought global interest to the team, combining elite-level experience with the club’s ambitions of staying in Italy’s top flight. Despite being involved in another relegation battle, Vardy has made a strong contribution and currently ranks as the club’s second-highest goalscorer, continuing to deliver even in the latter stages of his career.
