CROSSING SCHAERBEEK - HOME SHIRT 2025/2026
Crossing Schaerbeek are a Brussels club rooted in the commune of Schaerbeek, born in 1945 as Union Sportive Albert Schaerbeek and handed matricule number 4070 on joining the Belgian FA. The club took its modern shape in 2012, when a merger with neighbours R.F.C. Evere brought the Crossing name, a nod to the old Royal Crossing Club de Schaerbeek that once graced the Belgian top flight before slipping down the divisions. They play in green and white at the Crossing Stadium, tucked beside the leafy Josaphat Park in the north of the city.
This season's smart home shirt accompanied a landmark campaign, Crossing's very first at level three of the Belgian pyramid, the highest amateur tier, reached by winning Division 2 ACFF as champions the year before. Under manager Dave De Herdt they found the step up unforgiving: in the French-speaking First Division (renamed the FFA in April 2026) they finished 11th of 12 in the regular season, with four wins from 22, then went down through the relegation play-offs to drop back to Division 2 after a single season up.
There were few cup heroics in a season of survival, but the bigger picture flatters them: back-to-back promotions in 2024 and 2025 carried the club from the fifth tier to the third in successive summers, a remarkable climb for a neighbourhood side.
Up top the experienced striker Esteban Casagolda, a former Belgian top-flight forward, led the scoring in the regular season with four goals, with Mamadou Gueye, Gael Kakudji and Stevy Okitokandjo also chipping in.
