DINAMO ZAGREB - THIRD SHIRT 2025/2026

Dinamo Zagreb are the undisputed heavyweights of Croatian football, formed in 1945 and based in the capital, Zagreb. Nicknamed the Modri, or 'the Blues', for their traditional royal-blue colours, they play at the venerable Stadion Maksimir, the ground that has been their home for the best part of a century. Dinamo's celebrated academy has produced world-class talent, Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic among them, and their Eternal Derby with Hajduk Split is comfortably the biggest match in the Croatian calendar.

The 2025/26 season, Mario Kovacevic's first full campaign in charge following his appointment in June 2025, proved a triumphant one. Dinamo reclaimed the SuperSport HNL title, a 26th Croatian championship for the club, and this smart third shirt formed part of a kit collection worn throughout a season that ended in a domestic double.

That double was sealed in the Croatian Cup, where Dinamo beat Rijeka 2-0 in the final to set the league crown alongside the trophy. Europe told a more mixed tale: they came through the Europa League league phase in 21st to reach the knockout play-off, only to fall to Genk, who overturned a 1-0 first-leg deficit and won the tie after extra time.

Front and centre was Dion Drena Beljo, signed from Augsburg in the summer, who enjoyed a quite stunning debut season. The striker finished as the division's leading scorer with 31 league goals, and 38 across all competitions, firing Dinamo towards the title almost single-handedly at times. His prolific first year in Zagreb quickly looked one of the shrewdest pieces of business anywhere in the region.
