Espanyol, nicknamed Periquitos (The Budgerigars), play in Barcelona in Catalunya. 

They share a rivalry with their big neighbours, Barcelona.

Their ground, Estadi Cornella-El Prat, holds 40,000 fans.

This away shirt was worn during Espanyol’s first season back in La Liga after shock relegation two years before to the Segunda.

The club consolidated their La Liga status finishing 14th in the table, with striker Raúl de Tomás heading the club’s scoring charts with 17 goals.
