Fenerbahce 2024/2025 Away Shirt

FENERBAHCE - AWAY SHIRT 2024/2025

Fenerbahce were founded back in 1907 and call the Kadıköy district of Istanbul home, which puts them proudly on the Asian side of the Bosphorus, a rarity among the Turkish giants. To their devoted support they are the Sarı Kanaryalar (the Yellow Canaries), and also the Sarı Lacivertliler (the Yellow and Navy Blues). They play at the Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, a cauldron named after a former club president who went on to serve as Turkey's prime minister, which tells you everything about how deeply woven into the nation this club really is.

This campaign mattered because it was Jose Mourinho's first full season at the helm, the Special One brought in to finally topple arch-rivals Galatasaray. The 2024/2025 season, during which this striking away shirt was worn, ended with Fenerbahce finishing second in the Süper Lig on a hefty 84 points, though that left them 11 behind the champions and marked a fourth consecutive runners-up finish, a near miss that stung every canary.

There was real drama in Europe. In the Europa League, Fenerbahce swept past Anderlecht 5-2 on aggregate in the playoff round, one leg memorably halted by crowd trouble, to reach the last 16. There they met Rangers, lost the home leg 3-1, then roared back to win 2-0 at Ibrox and force a 3-3 aggregate, only to go out on penalties. Domestically they bowed out of the Turkish Cup at the quarter-final stage.

Youssef En-Nesyri was the undoubted star, the Morocco striker signed from Sevilla plundering 30 goals across all competitions, 20 of them in the league, in a sensational debut season.
