FORTALEZA C.E.I.F – HOME SHIRT 2021

Fortaleza is a professional club from the city of Cota, in central Colombia.

They have competed in Colombia’s top division twice, in 2013 and 2015. They play their home matches at the Estadio Municipal de Cota.

This unusual home shirt was worn by the side when competing in the Categoría Primera B, the second tier of football in Colombia. Atezados reached the play-offs after finishing in 7th place during the Torneo I stage but they could not pass the semi-finals where they finished at the bottom of Group A. This unique design, featuring large virus emoji icons to make a form of 'COVID Super Hero armour' in support of the COVID-19 fight, drew a lot of media attention and interest from younger fans. Included on the reverse is a scholar emoji, in reference to the club's implementation of a school for its athletes, the only club to do so in Colombia
