GRIMSBY TOWN – HOME SHIRT 2024/2025

Grimsby Town Football Club is a professional association football club based in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, England, that competes in EFL League Two, the fourth level of the English football league system.

Nicknamed "the Mariners", the club was founded as Grimsby Pelham Football Club in 1878, changed its name to Grimsby Town a year later, and moved to its current stadium, Blundell Park, in 1898. Grimsby Town is the most successful team of the three professional clubs in historic Lincolnshire, being the only one to play top-flight English football. It is also the only club of the three to reach an FA Cup semi-final (doing so on two occasions, both times during the 1930s). Recently, they historically beat giants Manchester United in the 2nd round of the Carabao Cup 12-11 on penalties meaning both goalkeepers had to take penalties!

This 2024/25 home shirt was the first of an agreed three season contract with Umbro to be their new kit provider. They finished the season in 9th in League Two, narrowly missing out on the play-offs on the final day and Danny Rose was their top scorer with 14 in the league and 15 in all competitions.
