Iceland have historically been a European footballing minnow but have risen to prominence in recent years after a fantastic tournament at Euro 2016, where the team reached the
Quarter Finals after knocking out England in the earlier round.

Strakarnir Okkar (Our Boys) wore this shirt in the nation’s first ever appearance at a World Cup in Russia.

The tournament started well for Iceland after earning a 1-1 draw with Argentina, but unfortunately defeats to Nigeria and Croatia meant that the Icelanders failed to make it out of the group stages this time round.
