Karlsruher SC is a German professional club based in Karlsruhe, Baden-Wurttemberg.

The club was founded in 1894 and plays at the 29,699 capacity Wildparkstadion.

For most of its life the club played at the 2nd and 3rd levels of the German league (Bundesliga) although they were German champions in 1909!

Intense rivalry for bragging rights in Baden-Wurttemberg is with VfB Stuttgart.

The team’s nickname is Die Gelbfussler (The Yellow Feet)

Karlsruher wore this home shirt in the 2007/2008 season, where they finished in a comfortable 11th place in the Bundesliga.
