KERALA BLASTERS FC – AWAY SHIRT 2021/2022

Kerala Blasters Football Club, commonly referred to simply as Blasters, is an Indian professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala. They compete in the Indian Super League (ISL), which is the top tier of football in India. The club was established in May 2014 during the inaugural season of the ISL. Kerala have been ISL runners-up on multiple occasions and are one of the most prominent clubs in Indian football. They share a rivalry with fellow South Indian sides Bengaluru FC and Chennaiyin FC, with whom they contest in the South Indian Derby.

They are one of the best supported clubs in Asia, consistently recording some of the highest attendances in the ISL. Their home ground, the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, is one of the largest in India and creates a vibrant matchday atmosphere.

The club go by a couple of nicknames – Manjappada (Yellow Army) and The Tuskers. The latter reflects Kerala’s cultural association with elephants, which are featured prominently in festivals and also appear on the club’s crest.

The club wore this away shirt during the 2021/2022 season, which proved to be one of their most successful campaigns. Kerala Blasters finished 4th in the ISL league stage, qualifying for the playoffs before progressing to the final, where they were narrowly defeated by Hyderabad FC in a penalty shootout.
