SV WEHEN WIESBADEN - HOME SHIRT 2024/2025
SV Wehen Wiesbaden are a German football club founded on 1 January 1926 in the small Hessian village of Wehen, now part of Taunusstein. Known to fans as SVWW, the club moved its base to the spa city of Wiesbaden in 2007 and has called the 13,500-capacity BRITA-Arena home ever since. SVWW have twice climbed to the 2. Bundesliga (in 2007 and 2019, returning again in 2023) and remain one of Hesse's proudest non-Bundesliga sides.
The 2024/2025 campaign - during which this smart home shirt was worn - was the club's first back in the 3. Liga following relegation from the 2. Bundesliga the previous summer. Under manager Nils Döring, who had taken charge in April 2024, SVWW set about consolidating in the third tier and finished a creditable ninth of twenty on 55 points - 15 wins, 10 draws and 13 defeats from their 38 matches, with 59 goals scored and 60 conceded.
The season's standout performer was Turkish-German forward Fatih Kaya, the club captain who delivered a brilliant 20-goal campaign to finish as the 3. Liga's top scorer.
A ninth-place finish was not enough to push back into the promotion conversation, but with a solid platform built and a 100-year anniversary on the horizon at the start of 2026, the SVWW project once again looked to be on stable ground in Wiesbaden.
The club are set to start their 2026/2027 campaign with a friendly against European Powerhouse Bayern Munich, followed by a DFB-Pokal Round 1 tie against Leverkusen!
