TAVRIYA SIMFEROPOL  – HOME SHIRT 2011/2012

Tavriya are an Ukrainian club badly affected by the dispute between Russia and Ukraine.

The team from Simferopol in the Crimea were the first ever winners of the Ukrainian Premier League.

However after Russia’s annexation of Crimea, the team were forced to join the Russian federation.

The Ukraine authorities helped to form a new club in the Ukraine, who now play in the southern city of Kherson. They joined the 2nd group of the Ukrainian Football Amateur League in 2016/17. A splinter club has also formed, FC TSK Simferopol, who joined the Russian Football Union after annexation.

This rare home shirt was worn when the Kyrmchyany fared well in the Premier Liga, managing a 6th placed finish, with strong midfield showings from Nazarenko and Kalinichenko.
