THIMPHU CITY FC – HOME SHIRT 2021

Thimphu City Football Club was founded in 2012 as the formal successor of Zimdra FC, which first recorded involvement in top-flight football in Bhutan in 2011. Based in Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, the club was established by founder and president Hishey Tshering with the mission of promoting football development and youth engagement throughout the country.

Thimphu City FC claimed their first Bhutan Premier League title in 2016 and reclaimed the championship in 2020, adding further balance to a competition otherwise dominated in recent years by Paro FC.

The 2021 season in which this unique shirt was worn, saw rivals Paro FC win the Premier League title, with Thimphu City competing as one of the division's leading clubs.
