SBV VITESSE - HOME SHIRT 2024/25

Vitesse is a Dutch football club based in Arnhem, Gelderland. They were founded on 14 May 1892 making them one of the oldest professional clubs in the Netherlands. The club experienced its most sustained success in the 1990s. Vitesse have qualified for Europe and won their first major trophy in 2017, lifting the KNVB Cup after a 2–0 victory over AZ Alkmaar. Since 1998, Vitesse have played their home matches at the GelreDome, a 21,000-seat stadium.

This shirt was worn during a very negative period for the club. After a host of issues with licensing requirements failing to be met and ongoing financial issues, the club received a 39 point reduction resigning them to a last placed finish in the Eerste Divisie and a grand total of just 5 points. They lost their professional football license in July 2025, but regained it in an appeal in September 2025.

They have been handed another point deduction to start the 2025/26 season and will be fighting against the odds to not finish last once again. The last time the club had a season without a point reduction was 2023.

They are a far cry away from when they had now stars Mason Mount and Martin Odegaard in their squad and will be looking to get back to that level.
