FC VOLENDAM – HOME SHIRT 2011/2012

Football Club Volendam is a professional football club based in the town of Volendam in North Holland, Netherlands. They play in the Eredivisie, the top tier of the Dutch football league system, following promotion from the Eerste Divisie in the 2024/25 season. 

Their nickname "de Palingboeren" translates to "The Eel Farmers", which is a reference to the local eel fishing and farming industry. The club was founded in 1920 and they have played their home matches in the 6,984-capacity Kras Stadion since 1975.

In the 2011/2012 season, where they wore this smart home kit, FC Volendam played in the Dutch second division, the Eerste Divisie - then known as Jupiler League. It wasn't a great season for the club finishing 12th out of 18 after finishing 6th the previous season, despite finishing with only 3 points less in 2011/2012. Jack Tuyp was their standout performer scoring 20 goals in the league and 21 in all competitions.
