WEST HAM UNITED - HOME SHIRT 2025/2026

West Ham United are one of English football's most storied names, founded in 1895 as Thames Ironworks before reforming under their current name in 1900. Based in east London, the Hammers (also known as the Irons) play at the London Stadium, their home since leaving the beloved Boleyn Ground in 2016. Famous for the anthem "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" and the crossed-hammers crest that nods to their shipyard roots, they remain the only club to have supplied three players to an England World Cup-winning final, in Bobby Moore, Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters.

The 2025/2026 campaign, during which this claret and blue home shirt was worn, proved a chastening one. Graham Potter began the season in the dugout but was dismissed on 27 September, with Nuno Espírito Santo taking the reins in a bid to steady the ship. Results never truly recovered, and West Ham finished 18th in the Premier League, condemning them to relegation and ending a long stay in the top flight. It was their first drop out of the division since the 2010/2011 season.

There were flickers of cheer in the cups. West Ham enjoyed a spirited run to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, reminding supporters of the club's proud knockout heritage, before their Carabao Cup involvement ended early with a second-round exit.

Jarrod Bowen carried the attacking burden almost single-handedly, top-scoring with nine league goals and eleven in all competitions. The captain and England international remained a talisman through a turbulent year on and off the pitch.
