YOUNG ELEPHANTS FC - AWAY SHIRT 2023

Young Elephants FC are based in Vientiane, Laos, and known simply as The Elephants. Owned since 2018 by Singaporean businessman Jason Lim. Since then, Young Elephants have transformed themselves from a youth-development side into one of the dominant forces in Laotian football.

The 2023 Lao League 1 was the season during which this away shirt was worn - and what a campaign it turned out to be. Under Singaporean head coach Satyasagara, the Elephants went the entire league season unbeaten for the second year running, lifting back-to-back championships.

Across 14 matches the side won 12 and drew two, scoring 38 goals and conceding just 4 - a record-low defensive return for the league. Their tightest test came at home to Ezra, won 2-1 in March, and a 1-1 draw at Ezra in the closing weeks.

The 2023 title also booked direct qualification for the AFC Challenge League, a maiden continental group-stage appearance secured by a squad drawn overwhelmingly from the Laos national team pool.
